Our law firm name is derived from the name, "Pera", which has the meaning of someone who is strong, sturdy and determined. Everyday, we aim to live up to the meaning of the name Pera.
Sam Ozturk and Brooke Ozturk are a husband and wife team that provide one on one service to each of our clients. Either Sam or Brooke will be allocated to each matter.
Sam has a broad ranging commercial practice including in the areas of commercial law and litigation and disputes. Sam takes a hands on approach with his clients and takes pride in being their trusted advisor. He regularly acts for clients in both transactional matters and litigious disputes. Sam takes a methodical and pragmatic approach to cases and utilizes his skills to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients. Where a dispute cannot be resolved by negotiation, Sam is always ready to fight for his clients’ rights and to prosecute their case with patience, determination and passion. Sam has helped many clients, including individuals and businesses, navigate their way through the legal system in difficult, complex and stressful cases. Prior to legal practice, Sam worked as a political advisor.

Brooke has a broad ranging commercial and transactional practice including in the areas of business law, wills and estates and property law. Brooke is empathetic and responsive to her clients and takes a careful and collaborative approach to finalising transactions. When negotiating on behalf of clients, Brooke places their interests at the forefront of her mind and works rigorously to ensure their rights are protected. Brooke has successfully advised and represented her clients across numerous matters including with the purchase and sale of businesses, buying/selling/leasing residential and commercial real estate and with the planning their estates. Prior to legal practice, Brooke was a nationally accredited mediator and worked in dispute resolution in the building and telecommunication industry.
